>> The Debian Cult

Nothing to hide, here...

My LDAP database entry. GPG stuff too.
I have reached #8 in the Debian Web of Trust. I have also reached #50 in the Global Web of Trust. Isn't that amazing? Absolutely amazing? This little hacker is strongly connected :-)

Bugs open against my packages. Help appreciated.
Lintian reports on my packages. (If this link is broken, it means I am Lintian Clean!).
Linda reports on my packages. My Developer Overview at the Debian Quality Assurance.

I sponsor packages for people in NM, which is fun and helps me learn.
If you need a sponsor or want gpg signing, ping me!

If you are reading down here, you must be really curious indeed, so here are some useful (for your "investigation" purposes) Debian links:
 - Debian Popularity Contest. By Avery Pennarun.

 - Debian Mantainers Karma status. By Dirk Eddelbuettel.

 - Status of Maintainer's packages and bugs. By Takuo Kitame.

 - My query above. I'll save you some work.
I like to call it my karma page.

I have attended Debconf 2 (Toronto), 3 (Oslo, which recently became the most expensive city in the world), 4 (Porto Alegre), and 5 (Helsinki). Had fun. Lots of fun. If you ever have the chance, meet your fellow Developers. Debian is a big, disfunctional, family.

Chicks Dig Debian

I am a member and co-founder of the Debian Women Project, an effort to balance the gender ratio in Debian.

In loving Memory

Ranty and ErConde left us in 10th May 2004.
Both are missed everyday... Happy Hacking in Heaven!

>> Who am I?

In short, I am the translatrix that became webmisstress that became a Debian Developer. And that's a really long story.
You may find or not a better answer at my home site www.amayita.com. I put up a bunch of /dev/random stuff there and tried to make it look pretty.

I also set up yet another page to let my rage flow in a constructive, even fun way. It is www.malapecora.com. In Spanish, my mother tongue, I meant something like "cold bitch dot com". Go figure...

And I set up Yet Another Web Site at www.chicasduras.com. The translation would be "tough girls dot com". It's somewhat a weblog where I try to keep my diary, pics and other undefined data on how I percieve the world.

 >> Who is Branden Robinson?

If I ever have the time I will start a Branden Robinson (Debian developer) Fan Club. Why? I believe in his public humiliation theory. He is bright, works hard, and does not give a damn. I actually happen to like most of people he opposes to too. So I guess this is some genetic impairment I have on making up my mind. The fact is that, loved or not, he lightens up some of my days. And he, in a frigthtening way, motivates me. Branden is just Branden. Full stop. And I am going to vote this guy to be the Debian Project Leader :-)

In fact I am sort of starting a fortune-branden project, with all the remarcable mails he sends or in which he gets mentioned in a sarcastic way. The sense of humor is sometimes sick, twisted or both, but it makes reading debian-devel worth it. Take a look at my tribute to him to see how I'm doing. Contributions appreciated. If you ever were engaged in a _bright_ mail fight with Branden, not private mail, please, point me to the right mailing list archive.
I have also made some banners so that you can show how much you love Branden. They are available on the URL above.

 >> The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and I have burned so very, very brightly.

All my work in Debian is dedicated to my mother, who will never understand WTF this is all this about. To Chicho for being around, even when I get all upset. To Juantomás and Ian for making me realize how strong I am, the hard way. To Héctor for making me realize I could, to Jordi for making it possible with his infinite patience, to Santiago for being the first one to spot me and for always being there. To all the people that worked with me at Demasiado.com, for the best year in my life (1999).

 >> Pierced and dangerous

I have a dragon tattoed on my back, a red Debian swirl on my belly, a cpierced lower lip, bellybuttom, and right nipple. And I don't give a damn what you think of it. Mandatory pics:
