Policy for Kernel Modules
This has been proposed by Yann Dirson.
- Package the source, as for the kernel, so that anyone can easily compile the modules for whatever strange kernel he wants (eg. plain Linus' kernels ;) [was objected, because apt should make it possible to install source packages in a more flexible way]
- provide binary packages for all kernel images in the dist, with a consistent naming-scheme.
