Changing data by mail

The l10n NMU status data can be changed by sending a mail to lwall-nmul10n@gluck.debian.org. The subject line will be scanned for a command. The body will be completely ignored. The html list will be immediately updated. The script will not send any mail back to you (or anyone). If you suspect there was an error processing your mail you can check the logfile.

The following commands are available:

Subject: [ITW] package

This is an Intention To Work. You will be set as the owner and everybody will know you are working on this package. You should send this before starting to work on a package and wait for the list to reflect the change. If the package has an owner the request will be ignored.

Subject: [NMU:num] package

You should send this after uploading the package to the delayed queue. The optional argument num is the bug with the NMU patch.

Subject: [IGNORE] package
Subject: [IGNORE:!] package

Mark the package with an IGNORE status. No action should be taken to NMU this package. The maintainer has a good reason not to add po-debconf support or include new translations to his package (hidden/unused template entries, etc). If the "!" argument is provided the status is cleared. This command will also save your mail (which should include an explanation on the status change) for further reference. All mails sent with this commands will accumulate, so if you wish to add further information you can issue this command again.

Subject: [POT] package

Upload pot, and possibly po, files for a package. You must attach the files to your mail. Only files ending in ".po" and ".pot" will be kept. Translators can download the files from:
