I found the GNU/Linux system to be a very powerful computing platform when I used it as a networked host computer. At the same time, I found somewhat prohibiting to use when I initially wanted to print out just a simple nicely formatted text to a non-Postscript printer. Getting GNU/Linux system to do what I want it to do sometimes takes too many steps of configurations.
I hope my humble efforts to organize "Debian Reference" will help ease these learning pains.
