Debian Folienstickers

Overview

This site gives a short overview about a special kind of stickers.

What is that?

A great thing to use with a booth are stickers. But the majority of them is just printed and often gets destroyed by sunlight, water or dirt. A foillabel is a glued foil which will be cut into shapes with a special swirl on laptop kind of a plotter. Thus, there is no white, transparent or whatever background at all - just the foil. Therefore, it's great to put on laptops, cars, public boxes at the booth, the booth in general or whatever. Another advance is the variable scale. Most possible sizes are from about 3cm up to 1,20m varying from the plotter's size. The stickers can be used to make the booth look better; you can also use smaller ones to give away to visitors, etc. The stickers are cheap to produce, but their cash value is high, so it's a very good thing to sell them or to give away for donations. Linux Wochen 2003 (Austria), Linux Tag 2003 (Germany) and Linux World Expo 2003 (Germany) have shown that visitors like them very much and are willing to give a donation.

How does it look?

Only in German, as yet. Sorry. But the pictures are also informal for non-German speakers :)

Files?

Just use the Debian logos. If you want to produce smaller ones, it's good to have them with less details. Remove details yourself or/and have a look at my files.
