apt-get repositories
In addition to the official Debian GNU/Linux package archives there are several well known unofficial repositories which you can download Debian packages from.
Three of the best known archives are
The first two offer more recent packages than those available with the Sarge release of Debian GNU/Linux, whilst the latter offers multi-media packages which aren't included with Debians releases.
Personal APT Repository
For my own use I maintain a small personal repository which can be used by apt-get.
This mostly includes softawre I have written, or found a need for, which isn't included in Sarge.
