== Woody Qemu Images ==

To build updates for security purposes you will need to have a suitable environment in which to do so. This environment should also enable you to test the installation and upgrade process of the relevent package(s) as well as merely building them.

Many times a chroot installation of a release will suffice, but sometimes you will need to have the X11 Windowing system up and running to test things.

In that case you will need either User-Mode-Linux setup or something else. I use //something else//, [qemu http://packages.debian.org/qemu]. There is a image of Woody with graphics setup available from the following link:
