Well, now that I think of it, adding the word "Program" to Gift Certificate in the subject line might just make things sound a tad complicated. The truth be known, I'm striving to keep this simple, if not for anything else but my own sanity.
And simple it will be!!!
Gift certificates and gift cards are extremely popular these days and are a great way to give someone the opportunity to choose their own gift, rather than accepting a gift that someone else thought they wanted and then trying to be gracious as they stash it in the closet with last years fruitcake.
For gardeners like us, it should be a lot simpler. Our friends know we LOVE plants, but they don't know every plant in our garden and by giving a gift certificate, they're giving us the option of CHOICE.
Sooooooooo, once again, I'm offering you an easy way to be a good friend or family member by giving the gardener in your life the luxury to choose their own plants and the satisfaction of knowing that you care about them.
And during this holiday season think about yourself! It's NOT selfish to indulge your own desires, you've worked really hard this year and you deserve to reward yourself and your garden with some new and very cool plants.
Gift Certificates are available in $25.00, $50.00, $75.00, $100.00 and even custom denominations like $1,000,000.00 >:-}
And...........to anyone who buys a GC this year, I'm going to lock in the special 10%, 20%, and 30% discounts on multiple purchases from our "Specials" page -
http://sunfarm.com/specials/ I'll be adding a multitude of new and interesting plants to that page this winter. Plants like Geum 'Georgenburg', a lovely antique Geum with apricot flowers held closely to the plant unlike most other Geums, Phlox 'Jeanna', an absolutely NO powdery mildew,dwarf phlox with fragrant rose-lavender-pink flowers, many new Carex species and some great lawn alternatives like Danthonia spicata are just the tip of the iceberg. I could go on and on here about all of the new plants, but I'll be writing to you over the Winter about them.
If you're running short of time, I'll even mail the GC to your recipient with your own handwritten card enclosed. If you'd like me to do that, send the card in a pre addressed, pre stamped, unsealed envelope along with your check, if there are no special instructions or cards, I'll send the GC to you. If you have any questions, email me directly at -
barry@sunfarm.com or send me your phone # and I'll call you. Otherwise simply send me a check along with your recipients name and I'll send the GC to you the same day.
GCs have NO expiration date, but at 58 years old, I'll probably only be doing this for another 40 years, so encourage your recipients to use it before 2047, that is unless I can get my son Zak to spend less time in the river fly fishing and help his old man more with the biz.
And as a special life saver for all those folks like myself who procrastinate till the last possible minute and call in a panic, I can send your giftee an immediate, electronic GC.
I'm here to CYA and make sure that you and your friends have a great holiday season and a spectacular gardening season in 2008.
By the way, if you're getting more than one copy of my mailings, want to sign up a friend, or for some insane reason, to unsubscribe, don't reply to this unmonitored email address. Just send an email to my personal email address -
