Debian Accessibility Blend

Accessibility made easy using pure Debian

Libre Software Meeting, Bordeaux, 7. July 2010

Abstract

In Debian there is an active group of people caring for accessibility related software packages. I would like to propose the advantages of using the Debian Pure Blend features to give this project a more strict technical structure and thus giving users an easier access to the packages which are available in Debian. For instance currently the Blends tasks pages for accessibility related software is used.

The talk will cover general Debian Blends technology and suggestions how it can be applied to accessibility problems. Moreover I would like to discuss with the audience in how far Blends techniques might be adapted to specific needs.
