The G++ 3.2 transition was one of the major goals for the Sarge release. We're almost at that goal now. This page exists to track how far we are from it. As of 15 May 2008 there are still 0 packages (1 source packages) compiled with g++ 2.95 in the archives. There are no g++ 3.0 compiled packages left. This listing is only for i386; other architectures will vary somewhat.
Now we're down to under 100 packages, it's time to ensure that every package still built with g++ 2.95 has a bug filed against it. The bug severity is an open question, but here's a list of packages and the bug numbers filed against them. This list is maintained by hand, so let me know when you find some bugs that aren't listed there.
How're we doing historically? Thanks to Jerome Lacoste, we now have a fancy graph, as well as the log since this script started running.
