During the month of August, I worked on the following tasks for LTS:

- Slight frontdesk work before handing off to Bastien.

- Started to work on backporting the necessary toolchain packages to
  bookworm and bullseye for the upcoming Firefox and Thunderbird ESR
  140 updates. Work to be continued/finished in September.

- Updated Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenJDK 17 and WebKitGTK+ packages.

I also worked on the following tasks for ELTS:

- OpenJDK 8 updates.

- Several pipeline fixes in support of Bastien's java-certificates-ca updates,
  as well as some clean-ups and simplifications now that jessie is gone.

- Updated some linux documentation.
