During the month of August, I worked on the following tasks for LTS: - Some front-desk work. - Backported the necessary toolchain packages in order to update Firefox and Thunderbird to 140 ESR, for trixie/bookworm/bullseye. - Backported Firefox to 140 ESR for bullseye. Investigated and fixed a Firefox build issue on ARM64. - Backported Thunderbird to 140 ESR to trixie/bookworm/bullseye. - Improved security-tracker service scripts to reduce chance of git conflicts when doing automatic updates. I also worked on the following tasks for ELTS: - Some front-desk work. - Reviewed ca-certificates-java update. - Guided Lucas on linux update. - Prepared linux 6.1.148 update for buster, but the bullseye update is blocked on signed packages, so waited with the upload. Found a couple of issues on debusine from the last upload, which have been solved already. Filed another debusine issue for pipelines with signed packages not being uploaded together, so partial updates are possible if a build fails. Tasks involving both LTS and ELTS: - Reviewed Santiago's proposal on CVE severities. - Did several security-tracker reviews from other contributors, and merged some.
