This Debian archive contains "XBMC from Debian" packages built using the internal FFmpeg copy shipped in vanilla XBMC.

Those packages can not enter the main Debian archive due to the embedded code copy of a big library (#706193), but are legally distributable.

Please use the XBMC packages from the main Debian archive if you don't have specific problems solved only by the embedded FFmpeg copy.

To use the packages from this repository install apt-transport-https and then add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list:

# for Jessie and Sid:
deb xbmc-ffmpeg-unstable/

# for Wheezy, it also needs packages from wheezy-backports
deb xbmc-ffmpeg-wheezy-backports/
deb wheezy-backports main contrib non-free

Since my signing key is already on the Debian keyring you can use it for authenticating the packages if the debian-keyring package is installed:

gpg --keyring /usr/share/keyrings/debian-keyring.gpg -a --export 21E764DF | sudo apt-key add -
