Korrekturvorschläge (diff -u) bitte bis ca. 19 Uhr MESZ am heutigen Mittwoch, den 14. September, an mich oder direkt ins Alioth-CVS. Sobald ich mit dem Abarbeiten der Korrekturvorschläge durch bin, werde ich Gerfried eine kurze Statusmeldung senden, auf dass er den Versand des Newsletters ankurbeln kann, und die jüngste Version ins Debian-CVS einpflegen. Alles, was danach noch eintreffen mag, werde ich dann direkt ins Debian-CVS einarbeiten, aber es wird wohl nicht mehr für den Versand berücksichtigt werden können. Ein kurzer Hinweis: Nach der entsprechenden Anfrage[0] in der vergangenen Woche und dem Durchsehen der eintreffenden Meinungen scheint es am profitabelsten zu sein, wenn wir in der in Arbeit befindlichen Übersetzung die Originalpassagen beibehalten. Ich möchte alle Übersetzer bitten, sämtliche Änderungen im infodrom- und später im Debian-CVS gewissenhaft zu übertragen, auf daß die Übersetzung immer mit dem jeweils aktuellen Original verglichen werden kann. Der Vorschauversand erfolgt heute zum ersten Mal in der gemixten Form, somit versende ich nur noch eine einzige Datei. Bei Bedarf sind ja die separaten Dateien weiterhin verfügbar [1]. Libre Software</a> studying the size of the source packages in Debian 3.1
calculates the size of sarge (close to 230 million lines of source code), the
use of the various programming languages in which the software has been
written, and the size of the packages included in the distribution. It also
estimates cost to create something on the scale of Debian from scratch with a
classical and well-known cost method (COCOMO) to be over 8 billion US
dollar.</p>

distribution. The Debian testing security team has spent the past year
building the team and creating infrastructure. Advisories for security fixes

announced</a> for updates that are made available through the new repository
and don't reach testing through normal propagation from unstable.</p>

to move towards a more BSD approach, where any developer can commit changes to

that several of these packages have been orphaned without changing their

feed to end up in a public mail archive somewhere.</p>

that the final version of a package is considered a lower version number than
the beta version and wondered how to cope with it. Robert Collins <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/08/msg01099.html";>suggested</a>
to use the low-priority tilde delimiter in such cases, although for the
current version this is too <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/08/msg01102.html";>late</a>
already and is also not yet <a

<p><strong>Nur Quellpakete hochladen.</strong> Sven Luther <a
