moin flo,

gut, machen wir es zweisprachig, kommt mir entgegen. allerdings fände
ich es praktischer die englische version VOR die übersetzung zu stellen.

<p>Willkommen zur 37. Ausgabe der DWN in diesem Jahr, dem wöchentlichen Newsletter der Debian-Gemeinschaft. Wouter Verhelst <a href="http://www.grep.be/blog/2005/08/17#new_bugs.d.o";>bemerkte</a>, dass die <a href="$(HOME)/Bugs/">Fehlerdatenbank</a> ein neues Layout erhalten habe und sogar Cascading Style Sheets wie die <a href="$(HOME)/">Haupt-Webseite</a> verwende. In einem Artikel <a href="http://ianmurdock.com/?p=239";>schlug</a> Ian Murdock Debian vor, sich auf einen engen Veröffentlichungszyklus zu konzentrieren und die wachsende Familie von Debian-Abkömmlingen vereint zu halten. </p>

<p><strong>Debian UK Society.</strong> In March Steve McIntyre <a href="http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/pipermail/debian-uk/2005-March/002526.html";>\ announced</a> plans to found the <a href="http://wiki.earth.li/DebianUKSociety";>Debian UK Society</a>. There have been some <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2005/09/msg00000.html";>\ resentments</a> against it and against <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2005/09/msg00073.html";>selling</a> items at exhibitions, though, leading to a large discussion. Branden Robinson already <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2005/08/msg00280.html";>worked</a> 
 on a revocable trademark license grant for Debian's name and logos
 usable by any local charitable affiliates.</p>

<p><strong>Testing-Sicherheit unterstützen.</strong> Joey Hess gab
den Beginn der vollen Sicherheitsunterstützung für Debians Testing-Distribution <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2005/09/msg00006.html";>\ bekannt</a>. Das Debian Testing-Sicherheitsteam habe das letzte Jahr damit verbracht, das Team aufzubauen und die Infrastruktur zu erstellen. Gutachten für Sicherheitskorrekturen werden nur für Aktualisierungen <a href="http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/secure-testing-announce";>\ bekanntgegeben</a>, die über das neue Depot verfügbar seien und Testing nicht # Jens: Übertragung ist unschön, Beförderung, Migration?? über die normale Übertragung von Unstable erreichten. </p>

Providing that service would recognise the relevance of Planet Debian to the Debian culture.  his feed to end up in a public mail archive somewhere.</p>

<p><strong>Debian Package Sponsor Platform.</strong> Neil McGovern

intends to help prospective Debian developers to find a sponsor for the packages they maintain. The site supports automatic updates of intent-to-package bugs when the package has been uploaded and notification of maintainers when a package has been sponsored.</p>
<p><strong>Paketversionierung von Beta-Versionen.</strong> Lars Bahner <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/08/msg00956.html";>\ bemerkte</a>, dass die endgültige Version eines Paketes mit niedrigerer Versionsnummer angesehen werde als die Beta-Version und fragte sich, wie man damit umgehe. Robert Collins <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/08/msg01099.html";>schlug 
 vor</a>, den niedrig priorisierten Tilde-Trenner in solchen Fällen

<p><strong>Beta Version Package Versioning.</strong> Lars Bahner <a

 that the final version of a package is considered a lower version
number than the beta version and wondered how to cope with it.
