<p><strong>Status der m68k-Portierung.</strong> Wouter Verhelst gab die
zukünftigen Pläne des m68k-Portierungsteams <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2006/01/msg00005.html";>\
bekannt</a>, nachdem sie zu viele <a
href="http://release.debian.org/etch_arch_qualify.html";>Anforderungen</a> für <a
href="$(HOME)/releases/etch/">Etch</a> nicht erfülle. Der m68k-Nachfolger von <a
href="http://www.freescale.com/";>Freescale</a>, die <a
href="http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/homepage.jsp?nodeId=02VS0lDFTQYTLC";>\
ColdFire</a>-Variante mit <abbr lang="en" text="memory management
unit">MMU</abbr> (Speicherverwaltungseinheit), würde die Geschwindigkeit der
buildds um den Faktor vier oder mehr im Vergleich zu den tatsächlichen Buildds
erhöhen. Zum Zweck der Evaluierung der Möglichkeit einer solchen hybriden
Portierung hat Freescale Debian fünf ColdFire-Boards angeboten, die derzeit
auf dem Weg zum m68-Portierungsteam sind.

<p><strong>Status of the m68k Port.</strong> Wouter Verhelst <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2006/01/msg00005.html";>\
announced</a> future plans of the m68k port team after it lacks too many <a
href="http://release.debian.org/etch_arch_qualify.html";>requirements</a> for
<a href="$(HOME)/releases/etch/">etch</a>. <a
href="http://www.freescale.com/";>Freescale</a>'s m68k successor, the <a
href="http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/homepage.jsp?nodeId=02VS0lDFTQYTLC";>\
ColdFire</a> variant with MMU (memory management unit) would boost the
buildds' speed by factor 4 and more compared to the actual buildds. For the
purpose of evaluating the possibilities of such an hybrid port, Freescale
offered Debian five ColdFire boards which are currently on the way to the Debian
m68k port team.</p>
<p><strong>Debians Spiegel-Aufteilung.</strong> Anthony Towns <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2006/01/msg00007.html";>\
gab bekannt</a>, dass der primäre Debian-Spiegel in Kürze nur die <a
href="$(HOME)/ports/i386/">i386</a>-Architektur anstatt aller Architekturen
enthalten werde, die <a href="$(HOME)/ports/amd64/">amd64</a>-Architektur könnte

<p><strong>Debian Mirror Split.</strong> Anthony Towns <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2006/01/msg00007.html";>\
announced</a> that the primary Debian mirror will soon only contain the <a
href="$(HOME)/ports/i386/">i386</a> architecture instead of all, the <a
href="$(HOME)/ports/amd64/">amd64</a> architecture may be added later. For
other architectures special host names will be created. He asked for help
communicating with mirror admins and maintaining the master mirror list.</p>

how to mark files in a software package that is to be released under the GNU

(GPL). Justin Pryzby <a

that all files with creative content should be marked accordingly. Brian
Nelson <a href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2005/11/msg00206.html";>\
added</a> that most of these questions are <a
href="http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html";>answered</a> by the Free
Software Foundation already.</p>

<p><strong>Discovering neglected Packages.</strong> Thomas Huriaux <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-qa/2005/12/msg00023.html";>wrote</a> a
number of scripts to <a href="http://haydn.debian.org/~thuriaux-guest/qa/";>\
discover</a> packages that have been neglected by their maintainers. The
output should help developers to decide which package to help working on. The
list is sorted by the number of <a
href="http://haydn.debian.org/~thuriaux-guest/qa/bugs.html";>bugs</a>, <a
href="http://haydn.debian.org/~thuriaux-guest/qa/date.html";>date</a> of the
last maintainer upload, number of <a
href="http://haydn.debian.org/~thuriaux-guest/qa/nmu.html";>non-maintainer
uploads</a> and the number of <a
href="http://haydn.debian.org/~thuriaux-guest/qa/rc_bugs.html";>\
release-critical</a> bugs.</p>
<p><strong>Vertrieb von GPL-Software.</strong> Daniel Carrera <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-legal/2006/01/msg00118.html";>fragte</a>
sich, wie er die Quellcode-Anforderung der GNU <a
href="http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html";>GPL</a> erfüllen solle, wenn
er OpenOffice.org-CDs während einer Ausstellung verteile. Andrew Suffield <a

that the easiest way is to prepare copies of the source and give them to
anybody who asks for them.</p>

einer Betreuung von Paketen durch ein Team unter Verwendung eines

<p><strong>Collaborative Maintenance of Packages.</strong> Following the last
discussion at the Debian-QA meeting in Darmstadt, Raphaël Hertzog <a

maintaining packages by a team using a version control system. The goal is to
find a decent way for Debian to let external contributors integrate their work
